Being born into a Christian family, I've lived and learned by the moral code of Christianity. Among my immediate family members, are four missionaries. Growing up in an extremely Christian immersed environment helped me establish and develop the values I stand by today. Throughout my early and later childhood, I consistently attended sunday school, went to Vacation Bible School (VBS), and went away to Christian based sleep-away camps. All my life I was drenched with the Christian religious system.
It is unfortunate to say that I have not yet been exposed to the variety of different religious systems, or their moral or ethical codes. I would love to learn each religions beliefs and taboos, along with understanding the basic idea of their scripture. Because of my exposure to a Christian lifestyle, I have no idea how life would be like in a primitive religion, with incantations spiritual totem poles. It really makes me think and want to venture out and learn more about these different religions.
